Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Dan Kyslinger played in the Milwaukee Brewers system from 1992 to 1995 and for the independent Madison Black Wolf in 1996. He peaked at High-A.

He was taken by the Brewers in the 5th round of the 1992 amateur draft, one pick ahead of pitcher Larry Mitchell. After striking out 13 in 7 2/3 innings for the Helena Brewers his first year, he managed 52 Ks, 15 saves, a 1.125 WHIP and a 3.60 ERA in 40 frames for the Beloit Brewers in 1993. He moved to the rotation in 1994, going 7-5, 4.93 in 30 games (21 starts) for the Stockton Ports. Back to the bullpen in 1995, he was 4-1, 3.59 in 37 games for Stockton in his final year in Milwaukee's system. He moved to Madison for 1996, going 8-4, 3.58 in 18 starts.

Overall, Kyslinger went 23-15 with a 4.08 ERA in 124 games (39 starts). In 331 innings, he allowed 317 hits and 159 walks (1.438 WHIP), while striking out 282 batters.
