Biographical Information[edit]
Dan Kleinfelder was a catcher and outfielder who played for the Philadelphia Athletics of the National Association of Base Ball Players starting in 1862. He played for the Excelsior of Philadelphia before this. By 1865 he was the captain of the A's.
His grandson Horace was apparently given season tickets to Philadelphia Phillies games in honor of his grandfather.
