Biographical Information[edit]
Dan Kerwin hit .667 in his only two major league games, going 4-for-6 with a double, two walks, and an RBI. Age 28 at the time, he was three years younger than teammate Joe Kelley. He played left field (as did Kelley).
Later, at the time of the Russo-Japanese war, it was claimed that Kerwin, who played for Louisville, had a "Japanese cast of countenance". Source: The book The Minor League Milwaukee Brewers.
In 1908 Kerwin played with both Kansas City and Minneapolis.
