Biographical Information

Dan Cowgill has been a college coach. He has been head coach at El Camino College (1977-1981), Cosumnes River College (1982-1987) and Los Angeles City College (1990-1995); he was also an assistant at Cal State Northridge. He headed the North Pole Nicks of the summer collegiate Alaska Baseball League in 1982 as well as the Alaska Goldpanners from 1998 to 2000. He was head coach at La Canada High School in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

He later won $1.2 million in a wrongful termination lawsuit against Los Angeles City College.

He was a catcher in college.
