Biographical Information

Dan Cotter and Tom Cotter were both born in the Boston area in successive years. However, they are not brothers - they were born 7 1/2 months apart. Where Tom was in the majors in 1891, Dan was in the majors in 1890. With the Buffalo Bisons, he pitched a completey against the Boston Reds of the Players League, allowing 14 earned runs on 18 hits.
