Dan Bridges
Dan Bridges was a college coach.
Bridges was head coach at Brentwood School from 1977-1984 and also was assistant coach at UCLA from 1982-1984. From 1984-1989, he was head coach (and assistant football coach) of the California Institute of Technology. He was promoted to athletic director at Caltech and held that role from 1989-1998. He followed with stints as athletic director of Pomona College and Cal Poly Pomona (2000-2003). He was Dean of Physical Education, Health and Athletics and interim Dean of Math and Science at San Bernardino Valley College from 2004-2006, then was hired as director of intercollegiate athletics of Cal State L.A. He was on the NCAA Executive Committee in 1996-1997.
