Biographical Information

Damon King has pitched for the South African national team.

King had a 5.59 ERA in three outings in the 2015 U-18 Baseball World Cup. In the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup, he was 0-1 with a team-high 27.00 ERA. He made the senior team for the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship; South Africa cruised to a title. He relieved Kevin Townend in a win over Burkina Faso. He allowed four hits, a walk and four runs (three earned) in one inning for South Africa's highest ERA, 27.00; the rest of the staff combined to allow two earned runs in the five-game event.

He was on South Africa's roster for the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifier but did not get into a game.
