Biographical Information

Damien Beal worked briefly as a fill-in umpire in the major leagues between 2007, when he worked a couple of American League games, and 2010, when he was the second base umpire in a single National League contest. In 2008 and 2009, he was busier, with 37 and 34 major league games respectively. He never earned a full-time promotion to the major league staff, however. During that time, his principal work was in the AAA International League. He later worked NCAA Division I games.
