Biographical Information

Dale Brewer has pitched in the independent leagues and the Czech Republic.

Brewer tied Roy Oswalt's record of 16 strikeouts in a game for Holmes Community College; the mark was broken in 2008 by Logan Hale. Dale once got an invitation to the minor league camp of the Minnesota Twins but did not sign. He pitched in 2006 for the Gateway Grizzlies, allowing 9 hits, 7 walks and 8 runs in 4 innings of work. Brewer pitched for Skokani Olomouc in the Czech Extraliga in 2008, going 2-1 with3 saves and a 0.74 ERA. He fanned 38 but walked 17 in 24 1/3 innings, allowing only 6 hits. He also batted .348/.388/.457. Brewer signed with France's Arvernes de Clermont-Ferrand in late 2008 for the 2009 season.
