Biographical Information[edit]
Dae-young Sunwoo pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization for 2 years.
Sunwoo played for South Korea in the 1981 World Games and 1981 Intercontinental Cup. When the KBO was founded in 1982, he joined the OB Bears. Sunwoo was 7-6 with a 3.39 ERA in 1982, and he was selected into the first KBO All-Star Game - the 1982 KBO All-Star Games; he was the winning pitcher of Game 3. He went 4-6 with a 3.91 ERA in 1983, but he had a serious shoulder injury, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Sunwoo was 11-12 with a 3.61 ERA, struck out 103 and pitched 234 2/3 in 2 seasons in the KBO.
