The San Francisco Giants and Baltimore Orioles shared a Dominican Summer League team in 1994. For the Giants, it was the second year of split sponsorship before returning to a full DSL Giants team in 1995. The Orioles had contributed players to the DSL Orioles/White Sox from 1990 to 1993 and again in 1995 before finally sponsoring the DSL Orioles in 1996. The team went 18-52 to finish last in the San Pedro de Macoris division under manager Matty Alou. Lorenzo Barcelo played for them.
