In 1990, when the Los Angeles Dodgers had two teams in the Dominican Summer League, they sponsored the DSL Cibao Dodgers and DSL San Pedro de Macoris Dodgers. They were 43-29 to finish second in the Cibao Division, one game back of the DSL Indians. Roberto Mejia led the league with 74 RBI.
