Biographical Information[edit]
Cristian Cano has played in the minors and for the Colombian national team.
Cano was signed by Kansas City Royals Rafael Miranda in February 2011. [1] He started at 2B for the 2012 DSL Royals, hitting .291/.419/.372 with 41 walks and 36 runs in 58 games. He missed the Dominican Summer League top 10 in walks by one. In 2013, he came to the US with the AZL Royals and batted .258/.361/.303, again showing good on-base ability; he moved to the corner outfield, though, where more offense was expected. With the 2014 Burlington Royals, he slumped to .207/.274/.324 and was let go, with a .260/.368/.343 batting line in 126 games as a pro, 61 walks, 64 runs and 5 triples.
