Biographical Information[edit]

Craig Lewis pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

Lewis was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 15th round of the 1987 Amateur Draft, and he had a 2.05 ERA in 8 games for the GCL Pirates in his first year. He also pitched 6 games for the Macon Pirates, but his ERA was 6.65. Lewis then recorded a 6.91 ERA in 11 games for the Watertown Pirates in 1988, and he left the Pirates system. He was 6-3 with a 2.76 ERA for the Sioux Falls Canaries in 1993, and he was 2-4 with a 6.66 ERA for the Reno Chukars in 1996. Lewis allowed 12 runs in 10 2/3 innings for the Minot Mallards in 1997, and his ERA was 5.09 in 4 starts for the Elmira Pioneers. The Brother Elephants then signed him, but Lewis recorded a 6.28 ERA in 5 appearances, and his professional career ended.
