Biographical Information

There is a chapter on Craig Cacek in the book One Hit Wonders, along with his high school teammate Kim Andrew. Craig's one hit came during a three week stint with the Houston Astros in 1977. Facing Steve Rogers of the Montreal Expos, he laced a single in the 5th inning of a June 21 loss at Stade Olympique. He received 19 other unsuccessful at bats, finishing at .050.
