Biographical Information[edit]
Cory Blaser began umpiring professionally in 2002 and umpired his first major league game in 2010, as a fill-in umpire. He was assigned to the Pacific Coast League until 2013, while working a total of 346 big league games as a fill-in. He was promoted to the status of full-time major league umpire before the 2014 season.
He worked his first postseason game in the 2015 National League Wild Card Game. He also worked the 2017 World Baseball Classic, 2018 All-Star Game and 2023 World Baseball Classic.
