Copper Country Soo League
In 1905 there was a class D league with four teams that was known as the Copper Country Soo League. The league first attempted a merger with the Northern League on June 1, but it was unsuccessful and both leagues went back to their regular schedules. The next year the merger with the Northern League was successful, and the union produced the Northern-Copper Country League in 1906.

There was a short lived merger of the Copper Country-Soo and Northern Leagues which began June 1st.
The newly formed league was called the "Northern Copper Country-Soo League. The first official game took place June 1st between the Duluth and Lake Linden clubs. The merger ended July 28th and the two leagues resumed their old schedules. The following cities were NOT represented in this league: Salut Ste Marie, Crookston and St Cloud.
Playoff: Lake Linden 4 games, Calumet 0.
