Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Conrad Gregor began his professional career in 2013.

He was originally drafted out of high school in the 40th round of the 2010 amateur draft by the Chicago White Sox, but opted not to sign. Instead, he attended Vanderbilt University, where he hit .353/.456/.471 with 60 hits his first year, .328/.439/.463 with 10 steals his sophomore campaign and .308/.440/.410 with 21 swipes his junior -- and final -- season. He was then taken by the Houston Astros in the 4th round of the 2013 amateur draft and inked a contract.

With the Tri-City ValleyCats in 2013, he hit .289/.379/.385 with four home runs and 35 RBI in 74 games. He hit .311/.404/.509 with 16 home runs and 86 RBI in 124 games between the Quad Cities River Bandits (44 G), Lancaster JetHawks (47 G) and Corpus Christi Hooks (33 G). His success that year was largely due to his stay with the JetHawks, with whom he hit .367/.449/.678 with 12 home runs and 45 RBI. He was a MiLB.com Organization All-Star that year. He began 2015 with Corpus Christi.
