Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Connor Sadzeck began his professional career in 2012.

He was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 45th round of the 2010 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He did ink a contract after being selected by the Texas Rangers in the 11th round of the 2011 amateur draft, a few picks after pitcher Seth Maness.

With the Spokane Indians in 2012, he went 1-4 with a 4.06 ERA in 15 starts. He went 12-4 with a 2.25 ERA in 24 starts for the Hickory Crawdads in 2013, then missed all of 2014 to Tommy John surgery.
