Biographical Information[edit]
Connie Desmond teamed with Mel Allen on play-by-play for the New York Yankees and Red Barber and later Vin Scully for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1940s and 1950s.
In addition, he hosted music-themed radio shows in New York in the 1940s, many times featuring himself singing.
