Biographical information[edit]

Pitcher Cody White was selected out of high school by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 12th round of the 2003 amateur draft. He has been playing in the Dodgers' organization since 2004, missing the 2009 season with injuries. His best year was in 2007, when he went a combined 10-8 with a 3.14 ERA in 27 games between the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League and the Inland Empire 66ers of the California League. He also won 10 games the following season, going 10-9 but with a 4.94 ERA, between Inland Empire and the Jacksonville Suns of the AA Southern League.

After missing the 2009 season, White made a handful of relief appearances with the AZL Dodgers in 2010, then was 0-3, 8.56 for Inland Empire and 3-0, but with a 7.33 ERA, in 8 games for the Albuquerque Isotopes inn his only taste of AAA action.
