Biographical Information[edit]
Claudio Fukunaga hit .100/.267/.118 as a regular for the DSL Nationals in 2006. In 2007, he improved to .226/.397/.321 in 23 games. The Nationals released him and he signed with the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2008, he batted .224/.291/.295 as a regular middle infielder for the VSL Rays.
Moving up to the GCL Rays in 2009, Fukunaga batted only .161/.200/.161 in 20 games in a utility role.
