Biographical Information

Clarence Fisher pitched four games in the majors for the Washington Senators.

Clarence was born in Letart, WV, a place where Mel Clark was later born. Fisher attended University of Rio Grande in Ohio, a few years after Harley Dillinger was there. He had a long minor league career, including parts of five seasons with Toronto, parts of five seasons with Buffalo, and parts of four seasons with Montreal, among other places. In perhaps his best year, he went 21-10 for the 1922 Buffalo Bisons. It was reported that Fisher was a submarine pitcher, at least in 1926 when he went 15-4. [1]
