Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Harley Dillinger pitched 11 games at age 19 for the 1914 Cleveland Naps. Harley was 20 years younger than teammate Nap Lajoie and five years younger than teammate Joe Jackson. He also won 12 games for Ft. Worth in 1917 and 13 games for Ft. Worth in 1919.

Although one of his nicknames is "Hoke", there was a contemporary in the minors also named "Hoke Dillinger" who played first base. The only other major league player through 2008 with the last name Dillinger is Bob Dillinger.
