The Cincinnati Steam are a Summer Collegiate Baseball team in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. The Steam make their home in Hayden Field at Xavier University. Founded in 2006, the Steam operate in a somewhat similar fashion to a minor league team allowing NCAA players to gain experience playing to the standards and grueling schedules of affiliated baseball.
