Biographical Information[edit]
Chung-Wei Hsueh played in the CPBL for 4 years.
Hsueh represented Taiwan in the 2012 Haarlemse Honkbalweek. The Uni-President Lions took him in the 6th round of the 2013 CPBL Draft, and he hit .300/.404/.371 in the minors in 2014. He slumped to .190/.256/.215 in 2015, and he went 2-for-21 with the big club. Hsueh then hit .232/.299/.261 in the minors in 2016, and he had a .345/.420/.425 batting line there in 2017. He also played 12 games in the major league, and he was 2-for-26. Hsueh only had 6 appearances combined in the rest of his career, and he announced his retirement in 2020.
Overall, Hsueh hit .217/.260/.283 with 20 hits in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
