Biographical Information

Chun-Chin Huang pitched in the CPBL for 3 years.

Huang represented Taiwan in the 2003 World Youth Championship. He was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 12th round of the 2010 CPBL Draft, and he had a 4.24 ERA in 27 appearances in the minors in 2011. His ERA rose to 5.28 in 29 games in 2012, and he also allowed 5 runs in 4 1/3 innings with the big club. Huang improved to a 1.24 ERA in 29 relief outings in 2013, and he set the CPBL minors record with 13 saves in a season. However, he struggled again with the big club, as he surrendered 3 runs in 4 innings. Huang’s ERA was 18.00 in three games in 2014, then he announced his retirement after having a 7.36 ERA in 16 games in the minors in 2015.

Overall, Huang was 0-0 with a 12.15 ERA, pitched 13 1/3 innings and struck out 2 in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
