Chun-Chih Chen caught in the CPBL for 6 years.
Chen was signed by the Jungo Bears in 1993, and he was traded to the Mercuries Tigers for Ming-Kun Ho before the season started. He didn't get many chances with the Tigers, and he only had 42 at-bats combined for their big club in his first four seasons. Chen was released in the middle of the 1996 season, and the Wei Chuan Dragons picked him up. He was 5-for-20 in 1997, then he hit .205/.220/.231 in 30 games in 1998. Chen announced his retirement after the 1998 season.
Overall, Chen had hit .194/.222/.243 with 20 hits in 6 seasons in the CPBL.
