Biographical Information[edit]
Chuck Gismondi was a long-time college coach.
Gismondi joined California University of Pennsylvania, then known as California State College, in 1969 as a professor in speech pathology, a role he held until 2002. He was assistant baseball coach from 1973-1979 before becoming head coach. He led the program from 1980-1996, going 393-295-7. Gismondi set the school record for career wins and took Cal U to one NCAA Tournament. He coached Rick Krivda in college.
