Biographical Information

Christos Gkiatas was on the Greek national team in the 2014 European Championship at age 17. He debuted against Spain, taking over in right for Konstaninos Gennios late in a 15-3 loss and did not bat or get a chance in the field. Against the champion Dutch national team, he started in right field and hit second. He struck out against former minor leaguer Mike Bolsenbroek then was replaced by George Soulis in the bottom of the inning.
