Biographical Information

Christian Garcia was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 3rd round of the 2004 amateur draft. He ws signed by scout Dan Radison and made his pro debut that summer. Garcia has suffered from injuries often throughout his career. He had an elbow strain in 2005 and an oblique strain in 2006. He had Tommy John surgery followed by a knee problem which combined to cause him to miss the entire 2007 season.
