Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Chris Patrick was taken by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 37th round of the 2004 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher James Russell and in the same round as third baseman Todd Frazier. In his first professional season, 2004, he slashed .319/.365/.427 with 2 home runs, 28 RBI and 74 hits in 64 games between two low-level clubs. In 2005, he hit .307/.383/.462 with 7 home runs, 50 RBI and 43 RBI in 79 games for the Swing of the Quad Cities and in 2006, he hit .303/.425/.455 in 12 games for the Palm Beach Cardinals.

Despite his solid hitting, his career ended after 2006. He hit .312/.378/.446 with 9 home runs, 83 RBI and 161 hits in 155 games.
