Chris Kissock was picked by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 9th round of the 2007 amateur draft. For Williamsport that year, he was 2-3 with 2 saves and a 3.74 ERA. With the 2008 Lakewood BlueClaws, Kissock was 4-6 with three saves and a 4.37 ERA. In 2009, he had a 3-5, 4.11 record for the Clearwater Threshers. He then joined Canada for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
