Biographical Information

Gary Ermis pitched in the minors and was a college coach.

Ermis was picked by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 39th round of the 1991 amateur draft, three picks before Dustin Hermanson. He was 1-8 with a 5.25 ERA that summer for the Medicine Hat Blue Jays. He led the Pioneer League in losses. He was assistant coach at Trinity University (1999) and was on the staff of St. Mary's University for over 25 years, including being head coach in 2022-2023.
