Biographical Information

Chris Coletta played 14 games with the California Angels in 1972, batting .300/.323/.433 with a home run and seven RBI in 30 at bats. Despite this solid production, he never got another look. Coletta was a long-time minor leaguer, breaking into pro ball in 1963. Most years, from 1966-1976, he played in the International League at least part of the season. In 1972, he hit .332 for Louisville and batted over .300 several other times in his minor league career.
