Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Aguila was drafted by Wally Walker and the Florida Marlins in the 3rd round of the 1997 amateur draft. He played parts of three seasons with the Fish and had a cameo with the New York Mets in 2008, spending time in Japan in 2009 with the Softbank Hawks. Aguila ended his playing career by appearing with the Philippines national team in the 2017 WBC Qualifiers played in Australia in February 2016. Despite being one of their most established players (Eric Farris was the other major leaguer), he went 0-for-4 with a walk, though he did drive in two runs as they were eliminated in two games.
