Biographical Information[edit]

Shortstop Chien-Hung Lin played in the CPBL for 3 years.

Lin was drafted by the First Financial Holdings Agan in the first round of the 2003 CPBL Draft, and he hit .193/.228/.239 in his rookie year. He crushed his first career home run on October 5, and that was a grand slam against Shad Williams of the Macoto Gida. Lin only hit .160/.213/.173 in 2004, and he improved to .243/.319/.243 in 2005. The La New Bears (the Agan had changed their name) then released him, and the Uni-President Lions picked him up. However, Lin never played any games with their big club, and he was banned for life after the 2006 season for his role in a game-fixing scandal .

Overall, Lin had hit .203/.259/.223 with 59 hit in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
