Biographical Information[edit]

Chico Salmon was a utility player in a Baltimore Orioles infield that boasted golden glovers Brooks Robinson, Mark Belanger, and Davey Johnson. He was just 3 for 30 as Panama's #3 batter in the lineup in the 1959 Central American and Caribbean Games but managed to score 8 runs for the Bronze Medal winners, tying Domingo Martín, Guillermo Rosado Ramos and Luis Guillermo Marrero Torres for 6th in the event. He fielded .958 at 2B.
