Chicago Brown Bombers
The Chicago Brown Bombers were a minor black team of the 1940s. In 1942, Bingo DeMoss was named as their manager, and they were members of the Negro Major Baseball League. They had been a barnstorming semi-pro outfit before that (sharing their name with a semi-pro football team as well), and continued after the league's demise. Occasionally called "Bingo's Brown Bombers".
They were also charter members of Gus Greenlee's United States Baseball League in 1945.
