Biographical Information

Chia-Yen Tsai played in the CPBL. His cousin is CPBL infielder Sheng-Wei Wang.

Tsai represented Taiwan in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, hitting .214/.353/.429 for the champs and playing error-free outfield defense. He was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the 4th round of the 2021 CPBL Draft, and he hit .158/.158/.211 in 7 games in 2022. He played 41 games with the big club in 2023, and he recorded a .205/.262/.256 batting line.
