Biographical Information

Chia-Cheng Wang had a brief career in the CPBL.

Wang was drafted by the Lamigo Monkeys in the 3rd round of the 2011 CPBL Draft, and he was 4-1 with a 3.37 ERA in the minors in 2012. He also pitched 2 games with the big club, but his ERA was 7.36. Wang then 4-3 with a 3.46 ERA in 2013, and he had a 4.59 ERA with a 2-1 record in the minors in 2014. The Monkeys released him after the 2014 season, and his professional career ended.

Wang’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 87.1 mph), forkball. slider and curveball.
