Biographical Information[edit]
Submariner Chi-young Lim pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization for 3 years.
Lim represented South Korea in the 2010 Intercontinental Cup, making his lone appearance against Hong Kong in a 17-2 win. He relieved Wong-jun Ko in the second and allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless frame (striking out two) then Yong-muk Won replaced him. He was drafted by the SK Wyverns in the 7th round of the 2012 KBO draft, and he had a 4.35 ERA in 6 games in 2012. Lim only pitched 2 games in 2013, and he missed the next two seasons due to military service. He only had 2 appearances with the big club in 2017 because of a shoulder injury, and the Wyverns released him. He started to coach Jeonju High School in 2024.
Overall, Lim was 1-1 with a 7.30 ERA, struck out 7 in 12 1/3 innings in 3 seasons in the KBO.
