Biographical Information[edit]

While pitching for the Buffalo Bisons in 1910, Chet Carmichael became the first man in International League to throw a perfect game when he hurled one against the Jersey City Skeeters. He had spent part of the prior season with the Cincinnati Reds, allowing 6 runs (but somehow no unearned runs) in 7 big league innings.
