Biographical Information

Cheng-Wei Lin played in the CPBL for 3 years.

Lin was signed by the Brother Elephants in 1997, but he was 0-for-7 in his rookie year. The Brothers then released him, and the Mercuries Tigers picked him up. Lin hit .212/.316/.212 in 1998, then he improved to .260/.293/.306 in 1999. However, the Tigers were expelled after the 1999 season, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Lin had hit .248/.292/.289 with 74 hit in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
