Biographical Information

Cheng-Hua Lin played in the CPBL.

Lin represented Taiwan in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, and he hit .346/.414/.462 in the event. The Rakuten Monkeys took him in the fourth round of the 2020 CPBL Draft, and he hit .283/.313/.351 with 32 runs in the minor league. He led the league in batting average, games and runs scored. Lin then hit .260/.296/.362 in the minors in 2022, and he led the league with 6 triples. He was promoted in 2023, and he played 56 games with a .250/.295/.302 batting line for the big club. He was 0-for-1 with a run scored in the 2023 Taiwan Series, but the Monkeys were beaten by the Wei Chuan Dragons in 7 games.
