Biographical Information

Cheng-Hsuan Lin played in the CPBL.

Lin was selected by the Wei Chuan Dragons in the 7th round of the 2018 CPBL Draft, and he had a 15.43 ERA in 3 games in the minors in 2019. He recorded a 12.04 ERA in 30 games in 2020, and his ERA was 7.63 in 17 games in 2021. Lin debuted against the Rakuten Monkeys on June 3, 2022 and he got his first strikeouts against Cheng-Fei Lin. Lin ended up having a 5.06 ERA in 10 appearances with the big club, and his ERA was 5.14 ERA in 22 games in the minors. Lin was sent to the Sydney Blue Sox in winter, but his ERA was 11.37 in 8 games. He returned to the minors in 2023, and he had a 10.80 ERA in 23 games there.

Lin’s repertoire includes a fastball (peak 92.6 mph) and forkball.
