Biographical Information

Cheng-Chen Lee had a brief career in the CPBL.

Lee was drafted by the Rakuten Monkeys in the 2nd round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and he went 3-1 with a 4.78 ERA in the minors in 2020. He was 3-3 with a 5.81 ERA in 2021, and he made his CPBL debut on October 19. Lee started against the CTBC Brothers, and he allowed a run in 3 2/3 innings. However, his ERA rose to 6.16 in 2022, then the Monkeys released him.

Lee's repertoire included a fastball (peak 91.9 mph), changeup, curveball and slider.
