Biographical Information[edit]
Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang has pitched in the minors.
Zhuang represented Taiwan in the 2021 U-23 Baseball World Cup. He fanned 9 in 5 shutout innings against Germany. The Oakland Athletics signed Zhuang with a 0.5 million signing bonus. He was 0-4 with a 4.71 ERA in 2022 for the Stockton Ports, then he missed the 2023 season due to right elbow injury. Zhuang broke out in 2024, and he was 3-2 with a 1.67 ERA for the Ports and 2-0 with a 2.56 ERA for the Lansing Lugnuts. He reached AA in the middle of the season, and his ERA was 2.05 in 5 games for the Midland RockHounds. He then made it onto Taiwan's roster for the 2026 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers.
