Charlottenburg, Berlin
Charlottenburg is now a neighborhood in Germany's capital, Berlin, but was an independent city until 1920. It was part of West Berlin during the Cold War and is most famous for its castle, Schloss Charlottenburg, built in the 17th century. It was the birthplace of Dutch Schliebner.
