Biographical Information[edit]
Charlie Niebergall, one of several major league players given the nickname "Nig", was a catcher who appeared in three seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals. He had most of his at-bats in 1924, when he was the # 2 catcher behind Mike Gonzalez.
Charlie also played 14 seasons in the minors and managed the Charleston Senators in 1934.
